ScanDocs Premier Edition is Now Available!

Muratec is pleased to announce the availability of ScanDocs Premier Edition.

ScanDocs Premier is a simple, easy-to-install document management system that enables users to quickly and easily index, search and retrieve:

• Hardcopy documents that are scanned from a Muratec MFP to a PC hard-drive or network folder.
• Existing electronic documents (such as Microsoft Office docs, PDF's, etc.). Over 200 file formats are supported!!
• E-mails and e-mail attachments.

How does it work?

1. Client installs the ScanDocs client on their PC.
2. After the client is installed the user opens the ScanDocs configuration tool. They can simply add the folders that they wish to monitor and ScanDocs does the rest.
3. When the user wants to search for a documents they simply open the ScanDocs search tool, which mirrors a Google search, and enters the search term. ScanDocs does the rest.
4. Anytime a new document is added to the folder, or an existing document is modified, ScanDocs will update it's database.

It's that easy!

Muratec Recieves "First in Class" Award at the 26th Annual Cannata Awards Dinner

Muratec was honored to receive the "First in Class" award at the 26th Annual Cannata Awards dinner on October 16th. The "First in Class" award is presented annually to the manufacturer who "achieved a high level of excellence in supporting the sale of MFP devices through an independent dealer channel.”

The award was presented to Muratec by Frank Cannata, President, Marketing Research Consultants, and Ben Russert, CEO, ProSource, one of the most recognized office equipment dealerships in North America.

As always the team at Marketing Research Consultants put on a tremendous event and raised over $100,000 for the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. I can say with confidence that Frank Cannata is the only person in our industry who can call a cease-fire and bring together competing manufacturers, leasing companies and dealers for a night of fun, food and charity.

It was great to see so many of our dealer partners, business associates and competitors under one roof. We’d like to extend a special thank you to Tony Nami, Mike and Mary Dominick, Jim Fuchs and Paul Shulman for joining us at the Muratec table for the event.

MFX-3530 and MFX-3590 Recognized by Buyers Lab

What a month!

September 2013 was an exceptional month for Muratec. Our MFX-3510, MFX-3530 and MFX-3590 continue to gain traction and we capped off the month by receiving a "Recommended" rating and "Certificate of Reliability" from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI).

What really stood out for us was that both the MFX-3530 and MFX-3590 completed the BLI 50,000 impression lab test without a single misfeed. BLI was also impressed with both devices usability, scanning performance, feature set and paper capacity.

Not to brag, but we also rocked the toner yield test (achieving a higher yield than our published rating)!
