Muratec’s Jim D’Emidio will be a featured panelist for the “What is Big Data and Why Should You Be Aware?” session at the upcoming World Expo 2012.

Big Data is the new hot topic, but why? What is it and why should it be important to you? Data, even Big Data, can't do anything by itself ... business intelligence is the ticket. Get the inside scoop and learn the ins and outs of Big Data from a panel of industry experts.

The session will take place on Wednesday, July 18^th from 3:00-4:00 pm. Joining Jim on the panel will be:

Demo Video Contest

Get excited everyone! From July 2 - August 31 we will be holding a demo video contest! The contest is open to all reps currently employed at a Muratec authorized dealer.

Contest Rules:

1. The contest will run from July 1 - August 31 and winners will be announced on October 1.
2. Demos can be of any current Muratec machine or machine feature.
3. All submissions must be under 2 minutes.
4. Videos will be judged on overall presentation, creativity and content.
5. The grand prize will be a $500 Amex gift card, 2^nd and 3^rd place will receive $250 Amex gift cards and 5 other videos will win $50 Amex gift cards.
6. Muratec will have full rights over all submissions for use on the web and for marketing purposes.
7. All videos should be in one of the following formats: mp4, wmv, avi.

How to Submit:

To submit a video, email Tierney Gonzalez at tgonzalez@muratec.com; once you are added as a user to the contest’s share folder, you will receive a notification from dropbox.com where you can create a free account and upload your video submission.
